I began my studies of French as a junior in high school. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BA in French in 1996. I am certified to teach French in to grades K-12 in the state of Oklahoma and I have five years of experience teaching French at the high school level. I have traveled to France and am familiar with the culture, history and customs, as well as the language.

I have learned throughout my wide range of teaching experience that the most effective way for children and adults to learn is for the teacher to use the learning style of the student in planning instruction, and if the curriculum is set the teacher should have the ability to adapt the lesson appropriately.
