One of the greatest accomplishments in the course of the educational process is the acquisition of full, quality literacy; it is the foundation. Consequently, I prefer a step-by-step, pragmatic method of teaching English language skills: phonics, words, syllables, consonants, verbs, sentences, punctuation, grammar, etc.

I know the value of a tutor in a young person’s life. As a child I struggled in math, but working with a tutor I overcame my difficulties in this area and eventually went on to complete calculus level two and even become the math club president in high school. I have earned two degrees, a Masters in Business and a BS in Finance which have allowed me to gain extensive skills in math, statistical analysis, finance and writing. I’ve written many research papers and a business plan for a small company which garnered several awards. I have work experience in finance, accounting, and writing and am adept at using most of the Microsoft Office programs to complete projects. I have one year of tutoring experience.
