When I am teaching my students, I am someone who has passion in all of the work that I do. I've always wanted to be a teacher and I want to make a positive impact in their lives. I know that all children can learn, whether or not they may have a learning disability. Working with students and education has been a part of my life for about 11 years. I first began doing so in high school, around 1999 working as a volunteer with the YMCA. Eventually I became a counselor and would work my way up to Camp Director. I am proud to say that I am the first of my family to attend a University. Currently I am a senior at Cuny Lehman College in the Bronx, NY where I study English Literature and minor in Secondary Education.
