My comments on tutoring Algebra III : Retired secondary classroom teacher after 32 years in public education. Currently teaching at several SAT/ACT College Prep Businesses in Plano, Frisco, Argyle, and Denton.
I am a retired classroom teacher after 35 years of teaching experience in public education. I currently teach at UNT and NCTC. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, regular and Pre-AP Algebra II, regular and Pre-AP Pre-Calculus,Trigonometry, and SAT/ACT Prep. I have tutored students in preparing for SAT, ACT, TAKS, TASP, THEA, and STAAR Tests. I have coached several UIL Mathematics and Number Sense teams that have won at the District level and proceeded to Regional and State Competition. I was the District Teacher of the Year for Aubrey ISD in 1995 and have been selected to Who's Who Among America's Teachers for two consecutive years.
I structure lessons with one-on-one instruction, interactive and independent practice, and opportunities for extended learning through applications.
