A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in creating value to the learners. It is not enough to repeat, or write what is in a text book. The job of a teacher is to create interest of the students in the subject being learned. I use different examples, and show how the the material being learned is relevant to a real world problem.
I worked in the Finance Industry (UBS Financial, and Wachovia securities). Also I have taught as an adjunct faculty in University of Saint Thomas, Metro State University, and various community colleges. I taught various economics, and finance classes. Also I taught developmental math to community college students. I have also taught my two children. My older son is graduating with degrees in Mathematics and Economics from University of Minnesota. I'm also an expert in using examples to explain a point. Especially when explaining technical things I can use non-technical examples to offer enlightenment. For example, while helping one of my sons learn college calculus I related first differentials to a police officer detecting speeders.
