My comments on tutoring Biology : I didn't go on to pursue an advanced degree in biology, but I love it, understand it, and would love to help you learn!

Tutored my way through high school, college, and have spent the years after graduation part-time tutoring high school students to get into whichever schools they set their sights on. My biggest pet peeve was boring classes with strategies that didn't make sense to me, and I'm here to fix that by offering a personalized style with in-depth analysis of your strengths, areas for improvement, and desired learning styles!

I prefer to see what the learning style of the student is and then adapt my teaching style to the student.
I was an in-school suspension teacher for two years at Durand High and Middle School, helping students get caught up on their pre-algebra, social studies, science, English and Spanish homework. Previously to becoming a teacher I worked in industry as a project manager or assistant for different companies, using Spanish occasionally. I student taught in 2004 at Hononegah HS, one semester at Auburn High School before being hired at Durand High School. I went to Eastern Illinois University for a degree in elementary education with a focus on middle school math and science.
