Where would you like see yourself in the next year?

I am a student at Texas Tech University, who has a great amount of experience in mathematics. I am currently working on my bachelor's in mechanical engineering, I have been known to teach any subject very well and have been told that I would make a great teacher. I know that mathematics can be a hard subject to understand, however the great thing about mathematics is that it is also easy to learn. How you may ask? well I can show you how.

College Teacher Tutoring Math, Economics Accounting TestPrep

As a student I was always helping my friends and brothers with their school work, especially math. While in graduate school working on my Masters degree I tutored for the athletic department and even tutored some of my classmates who were college professors working on their PhD's. I have been a college teacher for more than 5 years and started doing private tutoring over 2 years ago.

Got a degree at Texas Tech in mathematics with a minor in Mechanical Engineering. I have more experience with helping others who know what they are doing but needed that little nudge in understanding a certain subject. I specialize more in applied math rather than proofs or pure mathematics. I don't do a lot of tutoring nowadays but I understand how college is and how college students work. Take this advice: studying a lot is the way to really succeed and even the most brilliant students have to do it (try studying for actuarial tests and you'll find this out real quick!).
I like to go through the problem with the student. I will go through the steps as necessary and I like for the student to ask questions along the way.

An easy concise approach for the student to gain a better understanding of the subject.
I have basic experience tutoring and helping students with homework or concepts they didn't grasp well. Mainly helped out in math subjects as they are easier to explain with concepts and derivation so nothing just gets thrown out of nowhere and the student understands how it came into being.
