Completed over 12hrs college coursework in algebra alone. I would describe my teaching style as dynamic, creative student-centered I've either taught or tutored in some form or fashion for over 17yrs now. I've had ages 3yrs to 22yrs old covering all manner of subjects and hobbies. One of my most rewarding experience was with an 18 year old special needs 10th grader ready to drop out of school. I worked for Project Transformation through SMU. I tutored high risk and underprivileged children in Oakcliff with after school homework help. Their ages ranged from 5-12 years old. I along with my fellow tutors also provided extra intellectually stimulating activities when they finished their homework such as future planning and education regarding different cultures. I provide as much one on one attention as possible. I provide examples, write out explanations using the board, and try to help the child progress without giving them the answer.

I know Algebra I very well and completed it in class with an A+ I try to make the lesson fun and applicable to real life so that the student can be interested in the topic instead of just feeling like they have to memorize the information.
