Numerous studies have shown that children have different learning styles. I believe that tailoring to a student’s individual style is the most effective way to teach. Consequently, the first session will be spent in identifying your child’s unique style. Before tutoring begins, I like to sit down with the parents and student to identify educational goals. Once goals and learning styles are identified, it is easy to come up with an individualized study plan for your child.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a BS in Wildlife Biology, with honors, which gives me an excellent background in math and science. I have worked as a wildlife field technician over the last four years including a position with the Northern Divide Grizzly Bear Project. Through this I interacted with many students teaching many things in many different styles. When I was in upper level courses I would assist the underclassmen with their homework so that they could grasp the information.
