My comments on tutoring Organic Chemistry : Organic chemistry is one of my best course among the chemistry course I took in college. I tutored organic chemistry for 2 years in college and I enjoy helping my fellow students. Also, we could form discussion with my classmate and work on various assignments and everyone did great in the course. I could love to help anyone who need help.

I have had experience as tutor for the last four years tutoring college students in Biology, College Algebra, Chemistry and Anatomy. I use to help students who had difficulty on their assignments, projects and those who struggle with their course subjects. I have experience working with both audio/visual learners and a kinesthetic/tactile learner. The kinesthetic/tactile learner had learning disabilities akin to ADD, but still did very well in the small group environment. I believe that children who want to learn will do so given the proper setting and sufficient time to succeed. I have very high patience for children who try hard and still struggle, but I do expect the student to give their best effort at each task.
I earned a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University in 1984. My subjects of passion were math and science and I enjoy working with children who struggle in those areas. I have recently retired from the U.S. Army as a medic. During my service, I was frequently responsible for both formal and informal teaching and training. I learned to easily adapt to various learning styles, learning barriers, and researching subjects. While still in the service, I utilized my lunch breaks and evenings to further my education and emerged with my AA and completed Nurse Assistant training while still serving and my BS only one year later; two months after retiring. I believe in inquiry based learning where students learn new things by forming questions that they want to answer. When working on a problem I encourage students to come up with questions that they want to answer, to make lists of things they need to know, and then to think of an attack plan to complete the math or science problem.
