As an ESL ( English as a second language) teacher, I taught students at all levels, from elementary to advanced. I prepared students for exams such as the Cambridge First Certificate, TOEFL and TOEIC. I taught Business Management and Marketing in a European University and served as a student adviser to the graduating seniors.I also taught English to nursery school children and designed and taught a summer school program for elementary school students. At the outset of the personal computer revolution I sold and supported Tandy computers. As part of the support function I instructed clients in the use of their computers. A whole new world blossomed for me. Teaching clients to use their computers turned out to be a long term and very rewarding experience. During my thirteen years as The Computer Tutor I encountered a multitude of student learning difficulties. By working with the individual students, creative solutions were structured and successfully executed. Tutoring the non-traditional students to achieve their goals was by far the greatest reward.
