I have enjoyed learning since the day that I remember a light turning on for me. I struggled as a student until one day something clicked when sitting with my tutor. From that moment forward I began tutoring from my undergraduate years all the way up through my graduate program in as many subjects as time would allow. My teaching style is dependent on the student. With some students I find that they just need initial guidance from me before I let them be independent with their assignments. With other students I have found that they need me to hold their hand, so to speak, during the whole process. When that is the case I make sure that the student does not feel inadequate by having me walk them through each assignment. Since I am a graduate student I also implement various ways I learn with the students I teach. I will use auditory and visual modalities of teaching in order to help them develop various senses while they learn.
