My comments on tutoring Biology : I was a biology major in university.

For the greater part of my life I have been involved in various facets of education. A Little Bit About Me...

I honestly did not start out to be a teacher. Teaching was a profession that my family was involved in but I never saw it as something I would be good at. I became a teacher at first out of economic necessity and then realized I was actually very good at it. I was hired the day before classes started and stayed at the school for 24 years. I taught science, mathematics and social studies. For 5 years I was involved with an innovative ‘Student at Risk’ program and was even a media specialist for one year.
