Although I am advanced as far as the subject areas I would be tutoring in are concerned, I am still able to present the content to the student in the unique way that they are able to understand it. This is important, since no two students think alike and, in my experience, a majority of students do have trouble with math and math-intensive sciences such as physics. But even though I am more comfortable with the one-on-one experience that tutoring usually involves, I do have classroom experience from substituting and various group-tutoring sessions. I am a very patient tutor because I believe everyone can start as a blank slate and become a math expert. I feel that the foundational blocks of math often are not communicated well to students. I have a knack for seeing holes in their understanding and patching up the holes.
