Experience Summary
I have been an aerospace engineer for Boeing for three years. I love to learn math, and at the same time, it's a pleasure for me to teach math to others. When studying at MIT, I spent a year tutoring calculus, SAT II math, and logic. The tutoring felt easy and satisfying. I loved it.
Teaching Style
I am a very patient tutor because I believe everyone can start as a blank slate and become a math expert. I feel that the foundational blocks of math often are not communicated well to students. I have a knack for seeing holes in their understanding and patching up the holes. My teaching style involves conveying the foundation and showing how it connects to the higher level math subjects, which sometimes can be difficult to understand.
