I have a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and graduated in 1986. I am also a former officer in the North Carolina Army National Guard. I enjoy working with children and have wanted to be a teacher since I was in the fourth grade. My favorite part about teaching is when I see the "light bulb" go on in a child's mind and there is excitement about learning. I think every child can learn and that children need structure and guidance in the learning process.
