Since being awarded a master's degree in 2008, I've taught English composition, literature, and reading comprehension courses at Wayne State University, Henry Ford Community College, Oakland Community College, and Jackson Community College. The collaborative learning approach, where students are encouraged to discuss what and how they're learning, is most effective.
