I've been a teacher's unofficial little helper since I was in Elementary, helping the students of my class that the teacher simply didn't have the extra time to help. From then on, I helped and even eventually taught my younger siblings when the current school system left them in the dust, and even helped them get a leg up and advance faster than their classmates. I've tutored a few younger kids in various subjects in my high school years, as well as occasionally teaching Taekwondo classes.

I have always been driven to succeed, especially in school. I graduated magna cum laude with my BA in Communication this past December. This degree increased my own ability to communicate effectively and I am now pursuing a BA in English this Fall so that I can teach high school English. I am fortunate in that I have done well in all of my general education classes, making me confident in my ability to tutor algebra I and II, geometry, chemistry, biology, earth science, and of course English, whether it be writing, reading, or grammar. Each student is different and therefore our goal as educators is to adapt and shift according to the needs of the student. I believe that all are capable of learning with the right instruction.
