I have taught in higher education for the past 22 years. One year was spent teaching at Spokane Community College and for the past 21 years, I have taught at Whitworth University (formerly College). While I enjoy high teaching evaluations, one of my greatest strengths is the one-on-one teaching I am able to achieve through the advising process and the individual students seeking extra help. My teaching style is very simple, it's teaching people the concepts at hand in a manner they can understand, because some texts and instructions can be very confusing and over explained. I enjoy making complex concepts seem easy to my students and love to watch them apply them to any problem. Once, I get my students thinking in the right manner they can solve any problem.
