I would prefer the library, just because it is big and open. The library in Tooele is a great example. It has rooms that can be used. I would prefer tutoring no more than 10 students at a time. If I can get a copy of the lesson before hand, I can be prepared.
Most of the subjects I have selected I passed with an 85% or better. I also did some tutoring in high school for other students. If I didn't learn it, I am most likely to figure out what is going on. It helps to know before hand what the lesson and subject is, just so I can remember what it is and to be more prepared.

Elementary Math is one of my top subjects! I have been working intervention for elementary students in math from kindergarten to 6th grade. I use a multi sensory approach explaining why math works. This works great for pattern thinkers.

ORTON-Gilingham multi sensory approach. Math without words until the concept is mastered. Using lots of manipulatives including video games, that teach concepts.
I Have worked for the Davis County School district for 12 years. The last few years I have been working intervention for students who are not performing at grade level. I have learned that not all kids can learn the way they are taught in school. My 8 year old is dyslexic. I Have studied the Orton-Gilingham multisensory approach to reading and spelling. I have also learned to engage children in activities that are fun and creative. I will not be doing the same teaching style as there school.

Through my extensive teaching experience I have learned that everyone can do math if they are given the right steps and tools at a pace that works for them. I use lots of examples in my teaching. I have found that so many students don't have a belief in themselves with math and they need to know that their teacher believes they can do it. I go through each concept and make sure my students understand how to do it before moving on to the next concept. I also teach my students that there is more than one way to get to the right answer and I teach the skills that let them find the way that works best for each of them. I love to see the light in their eyes when they finally "get it" for the first time.
