I believe in a teaching style that reflects a student's learning style. Whether they learn best by hearing, seeing, or doing it is important to cater to the student. My teaching style works around this philosphy and tends to be a combination of all 3 styles.
Although I have recently graduated with a degree in business, I am interested in pursuing a career involving people. My previous employment was a sales position that was very customer-oriented. A Little Bit About Me...

My passion for giving children the encouragement they need to succeed is paramount for me. I believe that because children are our future, it is a necessity that they have every resource to achieve their dreams. I am the oldest of six children and have a two year old myself, and that alone has put me in a position to be a leader, a good example, and a mentor. I can easily relate to people from diverse backgrounds, and believe that regardless of set-backs or frustrations, every child has the ability to succeed both in school and in life.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a very modifiable style of teaching, meaning I cater to the student or students. I quickly learn the curriculum and can find multiple ways to teach it. This allows me to utilize the students major styles of learning and develop the areas where they may struggle. Teaching this way helps mold a complete student who is able to understand themselves and can learn from any lesson.
While attending and completing four years of Education courses at a well respected institution I was focused and driven to complete the curriculum and focus on creative lesson planning. A Little Bit About Me...

I am an avid learner and enjoy teaching and providing the same educational opportunities to others that were afforded to me. I have two Master degrees along with a Bachelor degree, with particular teaching emphases in History and English grammar and composition. I have experience teaching English, tutoring international students, and, I recently served as a weekly newspaper columnist for two years.
I am both patient and enthusiastic in my teaching style, believing that learning and growing offer tremendous rewards, even as there are inevitable challenges to be overcome along the way.
