I believe that all children can learn but they don't all learn the same way. It is my job as the teacher to make the lessons interesting and present them in such a way that the student will understand what is being taught. I believe that students need to feel valued and successful and it is my job to help them achieve success in their education and to feel valued as people. I am a graduate of Virginia Tech, with an interior design degree. I have taken many english and science classes. Also writing is a strong area of mine, since I have had to write many papers and essays. I worked at Blacksburg Daycare and Child Development Center for 4 1/2 years. There I taught all ages from 6 weeks to preschool. I also have children of my own.
