A Little Bit About Me...

I love math, but I am a Chemistry major at MSSU because i didn't find any attractive career as a Mathematician. I tutor a lot, mostly to y friends. I can help in pretty much any general subject like math, philosophy, drawing, painting, geography, and some English as well. I speak English, Gujarati, Hindi.I had my friends tell me that i should be a teacher because they like my teaching style. I think as a student i understand how to explain what they don't understand because i can put myself in same sue as the other students. I like to work with children of all types. I think that anybody has the capability to learn if they really want to. As a Martial Artist and former member of the Military, I am highly disciplined and driven to excellence. A Little Bit About Me...

I have enjoyed substitute teaching since 1991; it was a part- time occupation that worked well as I re-entered the college scene in order to advance my AA degree to a BA in Political Science. Life and destiny urged me to earn a teacher's certification in Texas, where I later worked as an ESL 4th-5th grade teacher in the Waco (Texas) Independent School District for three years. A move to Kentucky to be closer to my aging mother resulted in six years of working as the Adair County School District's Gifted and Talented Coordinator and ESL/ELL Coordinator. I became a teacher after 10 years in the private sector. I taught in California in the Westminster School District for 12 years (2 as a substitute/non-contract and 10 under contract). My subjects have included language arts, social science, and U.S. History. I have developed strong research and writing skills as I have continued my educational path earning a MA, working on another MA, and with my aspirations of earning my PhD in Latin American History.
