A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught private music lessons since 2006. My primary instrument is piano. I have tutored English, Math and Science for the last 3 years. My students have achieved fantastic results. Although I do not teach to tests or scores of any kind, but only to the needs I see in the student, I have been amazed at how quickly t it reflects on their scores, and more importantly, on their self-confidence and motivation. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is a very rewarding experience. I especially like to see when my students progress to a higher level. I believe all children can learn but they often have different learning styles. As a teacher, I varied my teaching style to match a student's learning style. I like to do discovery labs and give the students a little information about the lab and they would create the lab. Students are very creative when given the opportunity and motivation to be creative. Upon entering college in 1998, I had already taken Calculus while most other students were typically taking Algebra.
