Never stop learning!

I grasped the importance of education at a very young age and excelled throughout school. Early in my youth I also developed a sincere passion for helping fellow classmates who I saw were having difficulties comprehending course material. I had a knack for connecting with students, identifying the point of confusion, and creating different avenues to reach full comprehension of a subject matter. Reading is one of my top subjects! I am very proficient in Reading and currently work at a county school on the middle grades level and have worked with elementary students for 5 years prior to moving to middle school where I teach a reading and decoding group Monday-Friday. I also have a certificate in Reading and Decoding as well as a Bachelors degree.

As a Paraprofessional-Educator, I enjoy working with children in the areas of reading. They come to me struggling and in need of more assistance that I feel I can provide. I enjoy decoding and comprehension for basic skill understanding. I have worked with children mentoring and tutoring them for the last 8 years.
In college, I strived to do my very best. Like many others I had to write papers on different topics and grammar and comprehension plays a big part in writing a good paper. So, I took the opportunity while I was earning my degree, not to just get the degree, but to make sure I was doing the best I could so I could teach others what I had learned.
