I worked in California for one year as a substitute teacher; I worked for three years in a Christian School first in a 3-4 combination, then a 5-6 combination, then a 4-5 combination. I then moved on to tutoring. My first year was with Sylvan Learning Center, then with a private tutoring group, One to One Learning Center in Santa Rosa, CA. for six years. After moving to Florida and working in The Department of Children and Families, I tried other fields of work. From 2006 on, I have worked as an independent contractor for a local tutoring business.
