I like to be interactive- when I'm teaching I prefer to work through a problem with a student together the first time, letting the student more or less watch me. The second time through, we approach the problem with a little more weight placed on the student. The third time I ask the student to attempt the problem on his/her own, and I'm available for questions.
I have tutored classmates and friends throughout college and after in science and math disciplines. My younger sister struggled in school and I assisted her with all disciplines from grades K-12. I am a seasoned adjunct instructor and tutor at the introductory level at a Community College. I have taught a graduate level Chemistry course at a Masters granting College. My education includes a M.S. Polymer Chemistry/Science, B.S. in Biology and 46 Credits of Chemistry . More importantly I have worked as a teaching assistant at a School for Autistic children. Through this experience and others I developed a high level of patient and understanding of the different styles of learning and the broad spectrum of speed for which children master concept.

I hold a BS in Nuclear Engineering from Georgia Tech. I have two and a half years of experience, most of which is at the collegiate level. I am proficient at Introductory Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. I have a real understanding of these subjects; I have studied and applied them in senior level collegiate courses. While I prepare, I would not list them if I could not show up cold and teach them. In college I volunteered my time tutoring freshmen students in these subjects.
