I began my tutoring experience by tutoring high school algebra and geometry to fellow students during my senior year of high school. During my four years at LaGrange College I worked in the Tutoring Lab as a tutor for biology and humanities. After graduation, and before entering medical school, I worked as a tutor for Sylvan Learning Center and worked with students seeking homework support for Algebra and Geometry as well as with other students enrolled in the Math Essentials program. While at Sylvan I also taught the math portion of the SAT Prep course. Throughout the course of my education, I have gained experience in biology, chemistry, physics, and calculus, and over the past seven years I have instructed students in biology, algebra, geometry, and basic mathematics, as well as helped students with writing research papers and essays.

As an Georgia Southern Univesity graduate, I always had a passion for enabling our youth to become the best that they can be. I enjoy teaching very much. I have taught at The Savannah River College for approximately three years. I must say that it was one of the most rewarding job experiences I have had. I am very patient and my demeanor encourages students to approach me. My philosophy is that nothing is too difficult to learn. With the correct approach, technique and attitude any subject can be conquered. Many college freshmen have looked inside their calculus book and sometimes wonder how they are going to deal with the difficult subject of calculus.
