I believe that I am a very patient person, as well as someone who is easy to get along with. I would describe my teaching style as calm and focused on fundamentals. For example, when teaching math, I focus on building conceptual understanding rather than on plugging numbers into a formula. More than 1,000 students have been enrolled in my math classes over the past 5 years. I have worked with at least 100 students during 1:1 help sessions or professional tutoring. Topics include algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, probability, statistics and physics. I taught 3 years full time at two high schools and I taught more than a dozen semesters part time at 3 colleges.

I have a resource room and lesson plans for each group of students seperated by subject. I help them with Math, time management and note taking.
