My focus has always been reaching students who may have fallen through the cracks or those who have not been given enough of a chance. I have worked as an administrator in charge of a tutoring program where I hired math and reading tutors. My experience included training and mentoring tutors hired in the program. Also, I have worked as a 7th grade math teacher and 8th grade pre-algebra teacher for one year. This included writing lesson plans, teaching basic math and pre-algebraic math concepts, grading papers and attending team meetings.
