Following my graduation from the University of Connecticut I pursued a career in the insurance industry but have also spent time working as a youth group leader and worked as a part-time tutor for several years. While living in Connecticut I tutored homebound high school age children who were either out on medical leave or expelled for disciplinary purposes. I attended Clark University as a pre-med student and graduated with a BA in Biological Sciences. After graduation, I worked as a lab technician in a clinical immunology lab for 2 years prior to attending WPI for graduate school. While in grad school, I worked as a teaching assistant/tutor for 3 of the 4 years.
