I hold a Masters in Mathematics and a Bachelors in Molecular Biology. My teaching certification is EC-6 and just added ESL certified. I believe all children learn at there own style and pace and that we as teachers need to find what works for the child and help them build on their strengths in a positive way. I am a certified teacher and have been teaching for 8 years in elementary school. I began my teaching career by accident leaving the law enforcement field to work initially part-time as a teacher. I like being able to relate with my students. I make learning as entertaining as possible and will be able to go at any pace. i am great with patience. I have 3 younger siblings. In 2008, as an upper-level English major, I accepted a position with Schreiner University wherein I hoped to use my education in the concentration of composition. For the rest of my college career until I earned my B.A., I tutored fellow students at various stages of the writing process, from conceptualization to polishing.
