I left school to start a family bakery in Vermont followed by award winning bakeries in Northern California and Utah. I have been extremely fortunate the last couple years to gain a lot of teaching experience through substituting and student teaching, as well as tutoring. I feel like my experiences have been well rounded, working with all grade levels, different subjects, and special education students. Math can be fun, especially when applied to exciting applications. For my work at NASA and the MITRE Corporation I use concepts from Calculus I-II almost everyday.
