Hey! My names Bethy! I'm 13 years old and in 8th grade. I've been tutoring since I was in 5th grade. I can tutor all ages in almost any subject. Last year I had the highest GPA in my whole school! I love teaching anyone who is willing to learn! I also teach children with learning disabilities and special needs.

Math can be fun, especially when applied to exciting applications. For my work at NASA and the MITRE Corporation I use concepts from Calculus I-II almost everyday. Inspiring students to become excited about math and science is one of my life-long goals. Step by step visual diagrams can be effective tools for describing complex ideas. Currently, I work at a learning center, where I tutor students at a 3:1 ratio in beginning reading, academic reading, math, and writing. I also tutor a 2nd grade dyslexic student once a week, and a 3rd and 5th grade student in math. I am very passionate about tutoring and love seeing the difference I make in each student's life.
