I love teaching and love my job. I believe that each child has the will to succeed and it is my job to help him or her to do so. I look at his or her strengths and use those to develop the areas that the child needs the most instruction in. I am positive and patient with my students. I have a BS in psychology with a minor in biology and a MS in counseling psychology. I have worked in schools as a paraeducator and as a substitute teacher, with one year as a 7th grade biology teacher in a parochial school in Texas. I have worked as an editor and proofreader which, along with my advanced coursework, have given me an excellent of English grammatical skills. I am able to tutor mathematics up to and including algebra and geometry, reading, psychology, the arts, and elementary sciences.
