I have been tutoring individually for over 8 years for multiple families and children. I have been in child care as a nanny for the past 3 years. Before becoming a nanny I worked as a preschool teacher for about 2 years. My knowledge gained through my experiences in teaching and child care have given me useful tools to help meet the needs of my students and help them to be successful in school and in life.
I am a flexible tutor and am able to switch up my teaching styles based on the strengths, preferences, interests and needs (what I like to call their SPINs). I try to meet each individual student's needs using a variety of teaching strategies and techniques based on their learning style(s).

My love for learning drives me to do all that I can to make learning fun and motivating for others. I have a bachelor degree in biology from a private institution in New York Long Island University.I First began to teach with my father who is a GED instructor for the haitian community and i was a English instructor for his program. I went on to become a biology teacher for a urban school in philadelphia. I enjoy working with students and helping them to increase their ability in the area in which they struggle.
