While teaching is not my main profession, I enjoy teaching because in most cases, I was able to build a level of confidence in my students. Often times I found that some people simply have a phobia about certain subjects. Once I am able to remove that by engaging the student to understand and think through a question, they are able to gain confidence and build on that.

I would then use a dry erase board to work through problems and examples with them until they demonstrated a grasp of the material. I would also use my real-world experience, and discuss examples of how these concepts are applied.
