Tutoring was first introduced to me while in highschool, where I tutored other students on state testing. I began tutoring in 2006 working with afterschool programs in Waco TX. There I worked with Communities in Schools, a non profit organization located across the United States. I tutored and worked with afterschool till 2010. I tutored elementary and high school students.

I have tutored for Acers tutoring in Orlando for a full year. I have full experience with teaching reading and writing, as well as somer lower level algebra and mathematic skills. The kids have ranged from ages 8-14. As well, I have been giving guitar lessons to kids between the ages of 10-14. The children have all been able to pick up quickly, and being a song writer, I encourage the kids to seek full creativity in their music and learning. My comments on tutoring Elementary : Through 3rd grade and ESE

I believe every student has their own style of learing. I am very much a visual learner and utilize this style. Many students, though, are tactile learners and/or find their attention is kept using computers. I love discovering what type of learner each child is. ALL STUDENTS WELCOME!

Whenever I can, I like to be very hands-on in my teaching my students. For example, once I was teaching my class about trees. I had them go outside and collect samples of bark which had fallen on the ground. Then we created a gigantic mural in my classroom and glued the pieces of bark to a tree we had drawn.
I have been a self-employed Tutor since April, 2006. Special needs and home schooled students are welcomed.
