A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is thinking a bit about sentences and what the students expects of them can help us to diagnose problems with style. The basics of style are very simple and can be distilled into one principle: a sentence, at its most basic level, is about actors and actions. As such, the subject of a sentence should point clearly to the actor, and the verb of the sentence should describe its important action.
I have some experiences with deaf and hearing impaired. I have Associate of Science with Early Childhood, Associate of Science with Special Need Education and Bachelor of Science Education minor Social Work. I did alot of volunteer with School Systems, Board of Education,Social Work, tutoring,Fayetteville State University,and Salvation Army.

A Little Bit About Me...

In 2001 I completed my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Because I enjoy and love working with children I decided to go back to school and work on my Bachelor degree in Elementary Education. I completed my bachelor degree in August 2009. I am working toward receiving my certification in Elementary Education. The reason why I chose the Education field is because I enjoy working with children and helping them learn. I have worked with children for over 8 years ages 4-11 years old. I previously worked with preschool children preparing them for kindergarten. For two years I worked with school-age children helping them with homework assignments, completing projects and helping them prepare for test.

I am patient, considerate, and able to adapt to each child's way of learning to be able to help them understand what it is that they are trying to learn. I enjoy watching children learn and build on their learning each day. I also get a great sense of accomplishment when I see the child grasping the concepts they have been trying to overcome.
I have seven (7) years of musical experience in concert band, jazz band, marching band, orchestra, and pep band. I also have tutored through the Boys and Girls Club along with a program my college inacted for students who were hearing-impaired, mostly in the areas of math and grammar. I have also graduated in the top 10% of my class, both in high school and college. I have maintained a 3.0 GPA in both high school and college. My strengths are math and grammar.
