Experienced. Effective. The logical choice.

I have always enjoyed teaching others sharing my love of learning. I find it most effective to use a variety of methods to successfully teach information. I have realized that the best test of whether you understand something is to be able to teach it successfully to another person. Though being prepared is not a direct part of the tutor-student interaction, it is absolutely necessary for the tutor to be prepared far beyond the basic level. A Little Bit About Me...

I taught Environmental Science to disadvantaged kids in McKenzie, TN while on summer break from college and then I taught young children about animals and their lifesytles at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I am currently working on a master's degree in secondary science. I suffered from a learning disability when I was a high school student, so I understanding students when they just aren't able to quite understand and know that it's okay to seek help.
I feel that each student has their own individual style of learning and I will take that into consideration when tutoring your son/daughter.
