A Little Bit About Me...

I have two children of my own and understand that all people learn in their own way. I have proven success with helping children find the way to learn that works best for them. Both of my kids are in the talented and gifted programs at school. I am patient but firm and do not like to waste time or money. I love to watch a person figure it out and see the confidence building smile when the ideas finally start to click. My goal is to teach a person to learn on their own, think on their own and realize that they can accomplish anything once they learn how.

A Little Bit About Me...

Laid back, but encouraging.If a child is struggling, I don't think you should add fear and criticism to the situation. Having had Catholic nuns in all my grammer school days, pretty much put the "fear of God" into me, until I went on to public high school and college. then I was able to relax and embrace english and literature.
My BA degree was in Speech & Theatre. Who would have known that a shy kid like me would have excelled in public speaking, english, and theatre. I love the English language, even though I've had classes in French and Spanish. I started school when I was 4 years old (too early), and all my grade school years was challanged with education. Now that I am an adult, I feel that I have the experience to help children understand and find it easier to learn English and grammer, sentence writing, composition writing, essays, etc.
