I am very caring and cautious that each student learns in their own way and my teaching will be based on the students needs.
I have worked with many different age groups ranging from 7-40 years old. I currently do a lot of volunteer work where I tutor less privileged children. Throughout my college years I have been employed by two different after school programs for a combined amount of 6 years tutoring/teaching in public school after school programs. (Grades K-6) I also spent 2 months teaching full time 3rd and 4th grade after college prior to unfortunately being laid off due to financial losses in the school. I also tutored English in college through an Advanced English class I was placed in.
I have a passion and calling for working with children. From the time I was a child, I knew this is what I was meant to do. In my 40+ years of experience in the field of education, I have taught full time at all grade levels, from pre-school to teacher training. In the field of adult education have taught writing to Chinese-speaking adults, which enabed them to pass the California teacher exam.
