I have tutored a college student in math, I have also tutored a fourth grader in math. I can tutor anyone from preschool all the way up to a freshmen in college. In almost all subjects. I am a good tutor in math, can do the basics in sign language, good with people who have disabilities, and good with all subjects from preschool all the way up to a Sophomore in high school. I earned a BS in Business (CIS) with a cumulative 3.4 GPA and membership in two National Honor Societies. Courses included Chemistry, many Social Studies classes, and calculus-based Chem Physics. Briefly I taught Science and Math at a private high school in Albuquerque and did well, but quit because of a medical problem with my leg. After active duty in the Navy, I earned 8 credit hours in English through the CLEP test, and didn't take Freshman English. I had always made straight 'A's in English, and had excellent grammar. I have found I am most successful by not being overly aggressive. I never confront my students with fast-paced drills or time limits. I like to work with students in a cooperative way, one that allows them to discover the best means of figuring out solutions by themselves.
