After completing my degree in 2007 at the University of New Mexico, I moved to Denver, CO and taught for one year at Morey Middle School. Since the school is only 5 blocks from the Capitol building and a multitude of museums and libraries, I was able to tutor a few students from the school in a real-world environment. I currently teach to a diverse, at-risk population employing a variety of teaching methods. Many of my students are considered "gifted" after I teach them.
