I hold a Ph.D. in mathematics and a master in physics. I have been Assistant Professor at Columbia for the past four years. I have taught calculus 1 through 4 and Analysis 1/2 many times. My main area of expertise is Algebraic Geometry but I also have some experience in functional analysis and quantum mechanics. I try to teach my students how to derive advanced formulas and results from basic ideas, instead of relying on rote memorization.
