I recently graduated with my Masters in Secondary English Education from Rivier University. I taught literacy to adults with special needs for two years, and I've been working as a substitute teacher at a high school since January. With an undergraduate and graduate background in English, I have developed a proficient grasp of the English language. I recently obtained my Masters in Secondary English Education. I currently substitute teach at the high school level, and have taught literacy to adults with developmental disabilities. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked most of my adult life in education or journalism, and I was able to combine my two passions as a journalism professor at the college level for several years. I am currently a visiting lecturer in media studies at Bridgewater State College and a substitute teacher in local schools. I have taught social studies, business and typing in secondary schools. I also have taught in other venues -- as an exercise instructor for youth, adults and disabled individuals, as a word processing instructor, and as an English as a Second Language instructor to new immigrants through Literacy Volunteers of America. I have used my teaching skills as an editor at several newspapers, coaching new reporters and correspondents.
