My comments on tutoring ACT : I would like to post the disclaimer that I have not taken the ACT myself - I'm an SAT child! However, in high school I did study extensively for both exams, and retain much of my knowledge about how this exam works. In tutoring for the ACT, I offer strategies for optimizing time management on the exam, and getting the most out of the questions posed. Honors High School Graduate with experience in teaching

I have worked at Kumon Learning Center as a primary instructor for over a year, and have had ample experience in working with children of all ages in math and reading (teaching them the basic pronunciation of various letter sounds and words and basic mathematical concepts). ACT is one of my top subjects! Math portion

I am very patient, but I expect you to work to his or her full ability and to be honest about your weak points. If you can do most of the work on your own and come to me with what you truly have problems with, out time together will be much more productive.
I have a been tutoring math on at least a part-time basis for over 20 years. I have a degree in Psychology and another in Geomatics (Surveying and Mapping - heavy on mathematics) from the University of Florida.
