My teaching style is defined by my father, a teacher and coach. Successful in both the classroom and on the athletic field, he made sure that each student and athlete knew what was expected of them. What was expected of them was a mixture of hard work, discipline, sacrifice, and success. Success measured not necessarily by winning, for example, but by doing the best one can do with the gifts they had been given. In the corporations in which I worked, I wrote training manuals and trained and counseled managers and supervisors. During the past 8 years I have tutored students in math, psychology, spatial orientation, writing and reading. I also work with the Feurstein MLE program.
I enjoy teaching children of all ages, particularly on a one-to-one basis. In addition, I learn from the children.
