My teaching style is defined by my father, a teacher and coach. Successful in both the classroom and on the athletic field, he made sure that each student and athlete knew what was expected of them. What was expected of them was a mixture of hard work, discipline, sacrifice, and success. Success measured not necessarily by winning, for example, but by doing the best one can do with the gifts they had been given. In the end each student and athlete would learn the fundamentals of the given subject/sport to later in life build upon for their pleasure and, if necessary, to apply in a career capacity.

Patients is a amazing thing to have when trying to teach. Many students learn at a different pace and I feel that finding that pace for every student is important. If you try to cram or learn something to quickly it only become heartache and bad grades.

I honorably graduated in May on 2009 with a BA in English and a minor in Business Administration. I was taught linguistically and grammatically in my studies at Regis. As one who received a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, I've always loved education. With corporate background I have excellent grammatical and communication skills. In the corporations in which I worked, I wrote training manuals and trained and counseled managers and supervisors. During the past 8 years I have tutored students in math, psychology, spatial orientation, writing and reading. I also work with the Feurstein MLE program.
