Prior to my second career in the field of service to at-risk senior citizens, I taught English for four years at Westport High School. Following the reduction in force made necessary by budgetary constraints, I taught for ten years at the Crystal Springs School in Assonet, MA as a Special Needs teacher. While rewarding, I missed the challenge of more literary pursuits and began teaching evening classes at a local communuity-based organization. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching and working with children has been a love of mine for quite some time now. I feel all student's have the ability to learn but at a pace and level that is comfortable to them. My teaching style reflects my experience working with developmentally delayed students such as those on the Autism Spectrum.
